My name is Yashvardhan, and I am the Founder of Aquave — a skincare brand built on a vision to bring the best global marine skincare innovation to Indian consumers at accessible prices.
The Aquave journey began when I started closely studying the finest skincare formulations in the world — and was amazed by one thing: luxury brand were using powerful marine ingredients like Sea Kelp, offering transformational results. Yet, these products, priced at ₹20,000 and beyond, were completely out of reach for most people in India.
I kept asking myself:
Why should only a select few have access to such breakthrough skincare?
Why can’t high-efficacy, marine-based skincare be available to everyone, right here in India?
That question sparked a deep dive into months of research, ingredient sourcing, and product development.
THE INSPIRATION: SEA KELP AND BEYOND
The story of a luxury brand and the healing powers of Sea Kelp fascinated me. It was proof that nature, especially the ocean, holds secrets to skin transformation. However, there was a clear gap: no Indian brand was seriously exploring marine ingredients — despite India’s rich coastline and heritage.
While luxury brands globally created marine skincare miracles, Indian consumers were left with either basic "natural" products or chemical-heavy alternatives. There was no middle ground that combined the purity of the ocean with real, visible results.
TURNING RESEARCH INTO REALITY
I made it my mission to change that.
I spent months identifying the finest marine actives, working alongside formulators and researchers to create products using globally celebrated ingredients — like Seaweed Extracts, Algae Complexes, Seawater Minerals, Red Algae, and Marine Collagen Boosters — blended with proven scientific actives like Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, Vitamin C, and Hyaluronic Acid.
Every ingredient was chosen for one reason alone: to deliver real results, safely and effectively, without the luxury markup.
